Well, here we are. My very first blog post. No pressure, right?

If you’re reading this, chances are you either stumbled across my work, you’re planning a wedding, or you got really lost on the internet (in which case, hi, and welcome). Either way, I’m so glad you’re here!

I’m Savannah, the face (and camera) behind Ember Glow Photography. I photograph weddings and couples in Mississippi and Tennessee, capturing everything from the quiet moments shared between two people deeply in love, to wild dance floor chaos at your reception filled with the people most important to you. If you’re looking for stiff, overly posed photos where everyone stares into the camera like they’re trapped in a 90s Sears portrait, I’m probably not your person. But if you want photos that feel like you—full of movement, laughter, and the real, unfiltered moments—I’d love to tag along for your big day.

This blog? It’s a new thing for me, but my goal is to make it a place where you’ll find helpful wedding planning tips, behind-the-scenes stories, and maybe even a little bit of my own chaotic life (because let’s be honest, running a photography business is an adventure).
